Re: Another reason to ditch Sky Sports
Sky Sports is brilliant and value for money. They've completely transformed how sport is shown on television, simple as that.

If someone wants to get an android box to stream a lot of content then fine, but there's nothing better than watching it on a decent telly as it's meant to be. I'll probably get an android box for certain West Ham games but there's nothing like the real thing.

I think people forget how limited sport on tv was before Sky came along. The same people then moan at paying a monthly subscription the equivalent to a decent meal out for one night. As if they're going to give away all of that premium sport for free!

Actually looking forward to Friday night football, as long as it's not us. MILES better than 1.30pm Sunday IMO.

Re: Another reason to ditch Sky Sports
Ditched it and movies 2 years ago.... see everything I want on my droid box... watched all the Cricket recently in superb HD from Star Sports (India) not a problem at all... so in that time it's £700+ in my pocket rather than SKY wasting it on giving it to so over paid over hyped tosser of a footballer and his leach of an agent...

The cricket coverage is absolutely first class.

One of many reasons why Sky is value for money.

I watched a bit of MLS the other day, as I had a spare 5 mins, absolutley dire.

Some of the players out there are League 2 at best and then you have the older pros looking for a pay day.

My best mate lives out there and said Lampard is getting aload of stick in NYC as has done bugger all and enjoying the NYC lifestyle too much

Re: Another reason to ditch Sky Sports
Must confess I was moving over to BT but at the last minute stayed with Sky after they offered me 40% off and it was probably Sky Sports that swayed me. Still think their football coverage is excellent.

You can only get the 4k stuff with Sky Q can't you?

Re: Another reason to ditch Sky Sports
Given that they now offer 4K on football unless Virgin come up with that soon I may well consider jumping ship to Sky for the 4K stuff.

Will need to ensure their broadband is up to speed though.

Ditched it last year and apart from the cricket I don't miss it at all.

Have BT plus can watch any games on the IPAD. Any big games I'll usually go out to watch.
